(also referred to as the “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and we are committed to protecting it through our compliance with the Company’s Global Privacy & Security Policy (the “Privacy Policy”). The Privacy Policy sets forth the information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit our website or use any of our related software services (the “Services”). Further, the Privacy Policy covers the manner in which the Company collects, maintains, uses, protects, and discloses any such information as applicable. This Privacy Policy is global in nature, meaning that it is applicable to all websites, applications, offerings, and Services of the Company, and it describes our privacy practices when we process:

Personal information for the purposes of providing the benefits of the Company platform, which is collectively, all of the Company’s services, sites, experiences and software (including through our mobile applications and desktop applications) by the Company and its affiliates and subsidiaries (the “Platform”); and/or

The Company determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal information (“Information Controller”). We may share your personal data with other companies associated with the Company to process as joint controllers for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. Regarding any information collected by the Company offline or through any other means, including on any other website operated by any third party or us, the Privacy Policy does not apply. Information Collection and Use
The Company offers Services that may or may not require you to register for an account or provide personal information to us. We may collect many types of information, including, but not limited to, the following: IP addresses, login credentials, browser type, number of projects, size of projects, time spend on our software, project contacts, pay applications and other related financial data. We may also collect personal information when you reach out to us for support, give us feedback, participate in optional surveys, product research or training and you choose to share. Certain Services and/or features may have access to your camera and contacts if you grant permission in your device settings. All of this information stays in our Company and may be shared with authorized vendors and other parties related to your transactions and users within the Boom network using our software.
Profile Sharing Within The Boom Network
The Boom platform allows you to share your profile, which may contain certain sensitive business data and personal information, with other users in the Boom network. You control which users may access your profile information through our authorization settings. No detailed business data or sensitive information will be shared with another user unless you explicitly designate that user as being entitled to receive such information (an "Authorized Recipient").
You understand and agree that: (i) the information you submit to Boom may be used to create assessments of your business profile; (ii) your Authorized Recipients will receive such assessments from Boom and will have access to the information submitted by you; and (iii) limited information (e.g., company name, trade categories, and contact information) may be visible to other Boom network users to facilitate connections.
Authorized Recipients have agreed to use your profile information only for their internal business purposes and not to share your information with parties outside their organizations. However, Boom is not responsible for improper treatment or disposition of information by Authorized Recipients.
Information Provided by You
Any personal information that you provide to us about you depends on the context of your interactions with the Company, how you configure your account, and the choices that you make, including privacy settings. Personal information provided may also depend upon what services or experiences you use, your location and applicable law. Some of the Company’s Services and promotions may require registration, and if so, we may ask you for personal information (such as your name, email address and an account password). Additionally, credit card, bank account and routing numbers or other payment account information may be requested as well; if so, this information is maintained securely. We may combine the information you submit under your account with information from other Company Services or third parties to provide you with a better experience and to improve the quality of our Services. For certain Services, we may give you the opportunity to opt out of combining such information.

We utilize cookies in the provision of the Services to you – a cookie is a small file containing a string of characters. The cookies are sent to your computer or other device that uniquely identifies your browser. The use of cookies helps us improve the quality of our Services to you, our valued customer, including for storing user preferences, improving search results, and tracking user trends.
Log Information
When accessing the Company’s website, our servers record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website. Other Sites
This Privacy Policy applies to the Company’s website and SAAS Services. We do not exercise control over external links from our site to other third-party sites. These other sites may place their own cookies or other files on your computer, collect data or solicit personal information from you that is unrelated to our Company. The Company only processes personal information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and/or the supplementary privacy notices for specific services. In addition to the above, such purposes include: (i) providing our products & Services, including the display of customized content and product presentations; (ii) auditing, research and analysis in order to maintain, protect, and improve our products & Services; (iii) ensuring the technical functioning of our website; (iv) protecting the rights or property of the Company or our users; and (v) developing new services.
For Mergers and Acquisitions
If we are involved with a merger, asset sale, financing, liquidation, bankruptcy, or the acquisition of all or part of our business to another company, we may share your information with that company and its advisors before and after the transaction date.
No Sale of Personal Information to Third Parties
We do not and will not sell personal information to third parties. We do share personal information with third parties for the business purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Aggregated Information and Analytics
We may de-identify and aggregate information collected from you and other users in a way that does not contain identifiable confidential information ("Aggregated Information"). Boom owns all such Aggregated Information and may use it to generate industry insights, publish quarterly reports containing statistical information about the Boom network, and communicate such information to third parties without any obligation to you. Examples of Aggregated Information reports may include average credit worthiness of Boom Companies by region, number of contractors by trade in specific geographic areas, and similar industry metrics. Aggregated Information is anonymous information and is no longer Personal Information subject to data protection laws or regulations.
Choices for Personal Information
When signing up as a registered user with the Company that requires registration, we ask you to provide personal information. We will ask for your consent prior to using this information in a manner different than the purpose for which it was collected. If we propose to use personal information for any purposes other than those described in this Privacy Policy and/or in the specific service privacy notices, we will offer you an effective way to opt out of the use of personal information for those other purposes. We will not collect or use sensitive information for purposes other than those described in this Privacy Policy and/or in the supplementary service privacy notices unless we have obtained your prior consent.
