Boom is a privately held software company with team members in Atlanta, New York, and San Francisco. Each of our professionals brings a decade or more of experience in their respective field, from construction and data science, to software engineering and product design. Alex Bandes, CEO / Co-Founder
Chief Executive Officer, Alex Bandes, co-founded Boom with the goal of helping his family’s construction firm take a regimented approach to subcontractor pre-qualification and risk management. Prior to starting Boom, Alex was the Head of Product and GM at Built Technologies, which he joined via an acquisition of his previous software company. Alex is dedicated to helping customers succeed, designing impactful software, and leading the Boom team.
Lee Alexander, CTO / Co-Founder
Chief Technology Officer, Lee Alexander, is an accomplished tech leader, systems architect, and full-stack engineer. He’s led several large-scale builds at Built Technologies, Uber, and Mastercard. With deep expertise in developing enterprise applications, Lee’s work is reliable and ready for scale.
Matthew Faenza, CDAO / Co-Founder
Chief Data and AI Officer, Matthew Faenza, brings a wealth of experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data science to our team. Prior to co-founding Boom, Matthew was a Tech Lead at Google and Quantitative Researcher for Masters Capital. Matthew is passionate about building intelligence ecosystems that equip organizations with insights for unprecedented growth.
Matt Tiberii, Head of Finance & Risk / Co-Founder
Head of Finance & Risk, Matt Tiberii, is a seasoned construction finance and risk management expert. He brings unique insights from his tenure as Director of Finance at Built Technologies and his strategic roles in Project Management and Finance at Clark Construction. Matt is passionate about empowering customers with tools and insights to build robust risk management capabilities.
